Levi’s Interactive Promotional Book
This print focused piece includes a variety of production techniques to create an interactive user experience. The reader will be able to be immersed in the story of a pair of Levi’s and its human, through imagery, interactive pieces, and a grungy aesthetic that will guide the narrative. The story will be a recollection of the ups and downs of life and how Levi’s makes everything better. Levi’s customers do not simply wear their jeans, they do life in their Levi’s jeans.
The Book
The Levi’s customer does not simply wear their jeans, they do life in their Levi’s jeans. Just like our unique and individual life stories, Levi’s jeans proudly shows off memories, conforms to the shape of our body, and embraces new adventures.
Through my interpretation of Levi’s branding and message, I used it to fuel my design. Levi’s knows that life is not always squeaky clean and can get messy. They want to grab life by the horns and conquer it. I used that grungy, rough, carefree attitude and translated it through my interactive book. The book was mostly hand made with some help from Photoshop and a scanner. The tears, crumpled up paper, and multi medium markings were kept together by duct tape. It may not be crisp and clean, but neither is life and neither is Levi’s.
